How to wear a waistcoat in a chic way

“Not the quantity but the quality” matters when i'm choosing new pieces for my wardrobe. Normally this quote would describe the basics which would never go out of fashion and you will wear over and over again. Nowadays there are so many “new” basics out there to choose from so I would say that also the waistcoats belong definitely to those kinds of pieces.
I have to confess that till now I could never consider the best way to style it even if I've always loved them. Vests are pretty complicated piece of clothes but if you find the perfect styling way, it will definitely make the best job for you.
The first time I saw this timeless waistcoat from Zelle Studio I knew, it's made for me and I just have to try it out. This label is pretty new contemporary label from London with high-quality essentials for every occasion. So can’t wait to show and tell you now some words about the styling of this chic coat, which from one side adds a touch of luxury and elegance to the outfit but from the other side that effortless minimalism i particularly love. One of the keys to wear the long coats – high heels like some black strappy sandals (particularly if you are pretty small like me). This combination will make not only you look taller but also elongates your legs instantly. To create the “going out” outfit I’m wearing mini faux leather shorts and a simple top. Don’t forget some accessories like jewellery and sunglasses to put on, otherwise it tends to look little bit boring.
As the colder days are coming closer and to make the vests ideal for higher temperatures you can add some skinny jeans instead of the shorts, elegant booties and more layers beneath (like my beloved turtleneck) and you are ready!
